Infection Prevention & Control training

Minimising the risk of infection has never been more important in a social care setting. The course maps to the following units of the level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care:

• The Principles of Infection Prevention and Control (Unit sector reference: IC01)
• Causes and Spread of Infection (Unit sector reference: IC02)
• Cleaning, Decontamination and Waste Management (Unit sector reference: IC03)

IC01, IC02 and IC03 are all optional Group B units within the Health and Social Care Diploma at Level 2.
