According to the Alzheimer’s Research Trust there were over 820,000 people living with dementia in the UK in 2008, a number which is rising rapidly as the population ages. This engaging and interactive elearning course enables carers to understand what dementia is, the different forms of dementia and how others can have an impact on the individual with dementia.
The elearning course maps completely to the following two units of the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care:
DEM 201 is a required unit for all learners undertaking the Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care in England through the Dementia Pathway, and DEM 204 is one of the optional units.
