My scores are not updating / Why isn't the course mastered?
Mastering the Course
In order to receive a course certificate of mastery, each lesson must be mastered. The course's scores page shows which lessons have been mastered and which have not. To see which lessons have been mastered, follow these steps to check the Scores page:
1. Click the yellow tab on the left titled Course Tools
2. Click the View My Scores link
The Scores page explains the mastery procedure. You will see a message similar to: "A checkmark in the Mastery column indicates that you've scored the mastery level of 70% or better on questions for that lesson. To master the course, you must master all lessons. Since you have not mastered all lessons in the course, you have not yet mastered this course."
Mastering the Course's Lessons
In order for a score to be shown for a course lesson, all questions (even unscored questions) in that lesson must be answered. If no score shows for a lesson or your existing score appears not to be updating, check the Progress Report. To check the progress take the following steps:
1. Click the yellow tab on the left titled Course Tools
2. Click the Progress Report link
As you work through a lesson, questions are removed from the Progress Report as they are answered. The only questions showing are those that still need to be answered. You can click on the question link and be taken directly to it. When all questions have been answered for a lesson, a check mark and the word Completed appear on the Progress Report, and all questions will reappear for all lessons. If you want to raise the score of any lesson you must retake all the questions in the lesson.
Repeating a Lesson / Raising an Existing Score
When repeating a lesson or trying to raise an existing score, please note that the requirements stated above still apply. In order to raise your score, you must complete the lesson an additional time by answering every question in that lesson. Your scores will not update if you answer only the questions that you had previously answered incorrectly.

I cannot find where to get a certificate of completion for my course.
Log into the course and within the course click on the Course Tools tab on the left navigation. From here, click on the View My Scores tab. Your mastery percentage will be in the first paragraph on that page. If every lesson is scored at or above the mastery level, you will see a certificate button near the bottom of the scores graph. If there is a lesson or lessons without the mastery scores, a certificate button will not show. If a certificate button does show, click the button to generate your certificate.
