Michael Leon Carr

M.L. Carr, a former Celtics basketball star and coach, is the founder of WARM2Kids, a leader in providing social, emotional, and educational support for today's youth. He is also the founder of two charitable foundations, the M.L. Carr Scholarship Foundation at Guilford College (est. 1987), and the John Henry Carr Alzheimers and Aging Foundation (est. 1990).

M.L.'s mission is to challenge his celebrity and professional peers to use their wealth, influence and fame to positively impact the lives of others. We're all role models to somebody, and it is time that we all begin to take that responsibility seriously.

For his unyielding service to the community, he has received the Martin Luther King Jr. Image Award, the Toastmaster's Communication Award, Camille Cosby's Citizenship Award, and the Good Scout Award. He has authored three books, Don't Be Denied, Enough is Enough, and Winning Through Persistence. Mr. Carr also serves on several other charitable and corporate boards, including the Red Auerbach Youth Foundation, YMCA Advisory Board, Children's Museum Advisory Board, Guilford College Board of Trustees, and New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc.

Jonny Parkes is the former CEO of Electric Paper, one of Ireland's foremost e-Learning companies and has over 15 years experience in the interactive learning industry. One of Jonny's current roles is to manage a $2.5 million Industry Led Research project on behalf of the Irish Learning Aliiance (ILA). The project is looking to develop tools and technologies for developing next generation e-Learning solutions combining elements of social networking, mobile computing and the Semantic Web. Jonny has an MBA from the Open University Business School in the UK and a degree in Micro-Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
