What is MindLeaders PLuS?
MindLeaders PLuS, the first solution to provide personalized learning services with guidance from a human Learning Advisor, is the next evolution in Internet-based learning. When MindLeaders PLuS is used, Learning Advisors respond to employee training needs with a personalized learning plan each quarter. Each learning plan is based on the specific needs of a learner, the learner's manager and the organization's goals. Learning plans may include access to e-Learning courses, book references, written content created specifically for the learner and other learning resources. This compelling service is the first of its kind to convert individual and organizational learning goals into personalized learning plans through the guidance of a human Learning Advisor. All of these elements combine to deliver the most focused learning experience available anywhere with a greatly improved method of aligning learning with business goals and results.
How Does It Work?
Each employee in an organization spends 15 to 45 minutes completing a learning profile to identify the specific opportunities and challenges affecting that individual and others in the organization. Rather than using check boxes and menus that "force" a company's specific culture into predefined fields, PLuS puts the power in the learner's hands. Open text boxes allow learners to be as specific as they like when describing their learning needs.
What Does The Learner Receive?
Upon receipt of a learner's request, a MindLeaders Learning Advisor reviews the responses, and creates a learning plan that includes training the learner states is needed plus any training the learner may not have considered. Approximately seven days after the learner completes the profile, an online Personal Learning Plan is delivered to the learner. The plan also includes personalized messages from the learner's Learning Advisor explaining the plan in more detail. Managers have the opportunity to specify learning requirements and review learning plans before being sent to the learner.
What Is The Result?
Each learner now has a personalized plan (i.e. curriculum) providing a clear set of learning tasks to gain the knowledge necessary to better do their jobs, enhance their careers and meet company goals. MindLeaders can also provide an Organizational Overview that summarizes and analyzes the information Learning Advisors have gathered from the Personal Learning Profiles submitted to them.
