Project Management Institute Certifications
 MindLeaders is proud to be a Registered Education Provider of the Project Management Institute (PMI). In this role, MindLeaders helps support the continuing professional development of certified Project Management Professionals (PMPs), PMI members, and others in the project management community by providing quality educational opportunities. A number of our courses apply toward PMI certification requirements.

Additional "previously licensed" MindLeaders Courseware continue to be approved by the Project Management Institute for Professional Development Units (PDUs). These courses include the Business Communications, Business Management, and Time Management series.

Project Management Professional (PMP) Candidates
As a prerequisite for taking the PMP exam, applicants must earn 35 contact hours of instruction that addresses learning objectives in project management. These hours must include content on project quality, scope, time, cost, human resources, communications, risk, procurement or integration management.
PMP Certified Individuals
Under PMI's Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Program, those holding PMP credentials must earn 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) during each CCR cycle following their exam (every 2–3 years depending on the date of the exam).
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Candidates
A candidate for the CAPM credential must complete 23 contact hours of Project Management education prior to applying to take the exam.

No additional fees. Normal MindLeaders course subscription fees apply.
Number of Units Awarded Per Course
MindLeaders awards contact hours and PDUs based on the average
completion time of a course as a one-to-one ratio. For example,
if a course takes approximately three (3) hours to complete,
three (3) contact hours or PDUs are awarded for successfully
completing that course.

course. Average completion time is listed in hours for each
series and course.
Availability
Due to the Project Management Institute's guidelines, PDUs can only be awarded to students taking courses directly from www.mindleaders.com or via a MindLeaders' reseller who links students to www.mindleaders.com.
